This
game was developed in only 48h during the Global Game Jam 2015 at
Politecnico University of Milan, with the theme: "What do we do now?"
Cosplay Party is an endless style game in which the player controls two lovers cosplayers during a Cosplay Party. Because they are the most attractive ones of all, other cosplayers want to take a picture with them, but they are jealous of each other so they don't want their partner to be approached by strangers or to be in pictures with them.
For this reason the main purpose of the game is to stop the upcoming fans by switching the main characters position according to the sex of the approaching cosplayers and by tapping the right icon on the screen. The more time passes, faster the cosplayers come so it is necessary to be quick. After three failed attempts it's game over and a points system records the best performance of the players.
I participated mainly as a Game Designer and with a team of 5 other people, among which programmers and artists, starting from a game mechanic that I came up with, we brought to life this project.
